Meta and Seoul University launch “XR Hub Korea” to propose policies such as XR in the Asia-Pacific region = South Korea

US IT giant Meta (formerly Facebook) announced that it has launched an ``Asia-Pacific Regional XR Research Network'' with Seoul University as part of the ``XR (Cross Reality) Hub Korea.''
Ta. XR Hub Korea is a collaboration jointly established by Meta and Seoul University Artificial Intelligence (AI) Research Institute last year. Together with external experts, we will develop various technologies related to XR technology and metaverse that will drive future industries.
The goal is to study policy issues and provide a direction for long-term development. We will focus on exploring issues such as security, privacy protection, and economic opportunities within the metaverse.
