South Korea proposes foreign ministers' meeting to Japan and China

The South Korean government has proposed holding a trilateral foreign ministers' meeting at the end of next month. Kyodo News reported on the 19th, citing multiple diplomatic sources, that the South Korean government plans to hold a trilateral foreign ministers' meeting around the 26th of next month.
It was reported that Japan and China had been approached. The Japanese government is considering accepting the proposal for talks. The news agency said that the three countries will proceed with coordination based on China's reaction and the international situation.
If the Japan-China-South Korea foreign ministers' meeting is held, Foreign Minister Yoko Kamikawa, China's Communist Party Central Foreign Affairs Work Commission Office Director Wang Yi, and South Korea's Minister of Foreign Affairs Park Jin are expected to attend.
