A vehicle fire accident occurred on the Inland Expressway in the direction of Yangpyeong. CCTV (security camera) footage of the scene at the time shows military personnel who witnessed the vehicle fire and rushed to the scene to quickly extinguish the fire.
The process was clearly recorded. When the vehicle that caught fire came to a stop on the shoulder of the highway, a military bus carrying military personnel stopped in front of the vehicle. Then several soldiers got off the bus.
Initial measures were taken, including checking to see if there was anyone in the vehicle on fire, and finding a fire extinguisher to extinguish the fire. As the fire intensified, soldiers guided vehicles down the highway and firefighters arrived.
