Shocking circumstances after divorce between actor Lee Dong Gun and Cho Young Hee... ”My daughter...”

Korean actor Lee Dong-gon revealed his feelings for the first time since his divorce and gave reasons why he only interacts with his daughter Roa-chan through voice messages.

Lee Dong-gon, who entered his fourth year of single life, opened up about his daily life on SBS's "My Little Old Boy" which aired on the 29th. Lee Dong-gon has been seeing his daughter Roa every Sunday since his divorce from actress Cho Yoon-hee.

Lee Dong-gun said that he has been living five days a week drinking since his divorce. Lee Dong-gon said, "Three years have passed since my divorce, but I can't remember much. It just seems to have passed in a blur; it took a year before the release of Netflix's "Celebrity" and there was a gap. I have to work hard to support my kids and see them grow up happy."

Lee Dong-gun sees Roa every Sunday and always went to see her, except for the inevitable schedule. Lee Dong-gon said that he is currently living in a one-room apartment. "I got married and had Roa in the room where I was living alone; the atmosphere changed because I was living alone in a house where three people were living, and I didn't want to go home. It was empty because I had taken everything I needed for Loa. I wanted to escape from that house," he confided.

Lee Dong-gon and Roa exchanged voice messages. Lee Dong-gon said, "Roa doesn't have a cell phone, so we exchange voice messages on Cho Yoon-hee's cell phone. Cho Yoon-hee will answer the phone, so we are very careful. I couldn't imagine calling her," he said.

Lee Dong-gun sends a message to Roa, "Do you miss your dad?" and Roa said, "I want to see him on the 15th floor of his apartment. Lee Dong-gon asked, "Why haven't you written to your father lately?" Lee Dong-gon asked, "Why haven't you written a letter to your father lately?" and Roa said, "I'll write one," bringing Lee Dong-gon to tears.

Lee Dong-gon also shared a voice message that he usually exchanges with Roa, which brought tears to his eyes. Roa was concerned about Lee Dong-gun not visiting her at home, and Lee Dong-gun convinced her that he and Roa meet every Sunday.

Lee Dong-gon expressed his sadness, saying, "Some days she doesn't want to leave, but she says she wants to see me again on Sundays.

Meanwhile, Lee Dong-gun and Cho Yoon-hee filed for marriage in 2017 and got married in September of the same year. They divorced three years later. The reason for the divorce is unknown to Lee Dong-gun's mother.
