KT to develop smart city in Indonesia's new capital, MOU with state-run telecommunications company = South Korean report

On October 30, major telecommunications company KT signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Indonesia's state-run telecommunications company Telekom Indonesia for the development and expansion of a smart city in Indonesia's new capital.

With this MOU, KT will share its cutting-edge information and communications technology (ICT), such as smart cities and quantum cryptography, with Telkom Indonesia's customers.
We will cooperate in the construction of a smart city in Nusantara by combining the development and infrastructure of the two countries. The two companies also discussed data center business in Nusantara through consulting. child
As a result, the two companies decided to jointly move forward with plans to expand the smart city business across a variety of fields, including transportation, energy, and artificial intelligence (AI).
KT has previously developed smart cities related to energy, transportation, and AI in South Korea such as Siheung and Pangyo.
