Kim Jong-in, Chairman of the People's Power Former Emergency Countermeasures Committee, ``Former Representative Lee Jun-seok and Former Representative Koto Tae-seop can unite...a meeting to become one'' = South Korea
On the 10th, Kim Jong-in, chairman of the former People's Power (ruling party) former emergency countermeasures committee, said to former People's Power representative Lee Jun-seok and former member Geum Tae-seop, ``They integrate well with each other.
I think I can do it," he said. After meeting with the two at a location in Seoul that afternoon, Chairman Kim Former told reporters at his office in Gwanghwamun, ``The two have created a new political force.''
"The two of us have the same aspirations, so there is no need for us to be separate, and the purpose of this meeting is to cooperate with each other and bring them together as one."
Prior to this, Chairman Kim Former had lunch with the two for over an hour. Chairman Kim Former said, ``The two of them want to meet each other.''
So I just made a seat. In my opinion, (the two) don't seem to have any particular differences." Chairman Kim Former said, ``Because former representative Lee talked about a ``new party based on Gyeongsang Province,''
When asked if there are any limits to uniting with members, he answered, ``There doesn't have to be a limit.'' He continued, ``The two major political parties have virtually no will or ability to solve our country's immediate problems.''
There doesn't seem to be much. We still talk about things like ``innovation,'' but when we look at innovation proposals, we have to think calmly about whether they are realistically correct.''
He added: ``New political forces are now presenting us with what their most serious agenda is, and we have proposed a solution like this.''
"If we present it, the people will make a decision, and if the people's decisions become a new political force, we can change the politics of this country." He also said, ``I keep talking negatively about the emergence of new party forces.''
However, I know this because I have experienced it over the past 10 years. In 2016, when we both chaired the Democratic Party's (opposition) emergency response committee, the media and political commentators before the election said, ``80 seats!''
"But together, we have made the Democratic Party one party." Regarding former representative Lee's mention of contact with Democratic Party member Lee Jae-myung (Lee Jae-myung)
Chairman Kim Former said, ``There is no need to discuss non-Lee Jae-Myung-related people. It seems difficult for non-Lee Jae-Myung-related people to be recognized if they are both in the Democratic Party, so they have to go somewhere else to survive politically.''
"If official recognition is guaranteed, those people will exist, whether they are non-Lee Jae-Myung or Democratic Party members."
Chairman Kim Former said, ``The reason why third parties failed in the past was because people who failed to gain recognition met with each other and formed parties.''
added. However, regarding whether or not he would intervene in the formation of a new party, Chairman Kim Former said, ``I will not intervene. We have our own will, and if it agrees with us, we can do it together, so I have no intention of doing so.''
” he declared.
