A 2-year-old girl who was attacked by a large dog in Chengdu City, Sichuan Province, China on the 16th of last month and was seriously injured was discharged from the hospital on November 13th, after continuing hospitalization treatment.
Around 8 a.m. (local time) on the 16th of last month, a mother and her 2-year-old daughter were tied up on a leash on the premises of an apartment complex in Chongzhou, the same city.
I encountered two large dogs (a Labrador retriever and a Rottweiler). One of the dogs, a Rottweiler, bit the girl, causing serious injuries including kidney damage.
The girl was rushed to the hospital and underwent multiple surgeries. On the 14th, officials at West China Hospital, where the girl was hospitalized, revealed that the girl was safely discharged from the hospital on the 13th.
The girl's injured right kidney is recovering smoothly and the wound is healing well. From now on, we will conduct regular tests and monitor the progress."
