68% of Gimpo citizens support incorporation into Seoul City = South Korea

It has been revealed that Gimpo citizens are overwhelmingly in favor of the incorporation of Gimpo City into Seoul. As a result of a public opinion poll regarding the incorporation of Gimpo City into Seoul City, 68
% said 'I agree'. This is the exact opposite of a public opinion poll conducted in Gyeonggi Province, which found that 61.9% of Gimpo citizens opposed the city's incorporation into Seoul City.
On the 17th, at the request of Gimpo City, public opinion poll Innertech Systems Co., Ltd. conducted a survey of 1,010 Gimpo citizens regarding their opinions regarding the incorporation into Seoul City, and the results showed that they were in favor of incorporation into Seoul City.
Regarding the "no" question, 68% were in favor, 29.7% were against it, and 2.3% were not sure. Also, if you do not agree, Gimpo City will choose between Northern Gyeonggi Special Self-governing Province and South Gyeonggi Province.
When asked whether they would like to belong to the group, 42.1% of respondents were from Northern Gyeonggi Special Self-Governing Province, 33.8% from South Gyeonggi Province, and 24.1% were not sure.
This survey was conducted from the 15th to the 16th using the ARS public opinion survey system, targeting 1,010 Gimpo citizens aged 18 and over living in Gimpo City.
This was a telephone survey. Prior to this, Gyeonggi Province conducted a questionnaire survey targeting Gyeonggi residents on the 12th. Of these, 6 out of 10 residents of Gimpo City opposed the incorporation into Seoul City.
I answered, 'I'm against you.' However, this poll revealed that 6.8 out of 10 Gimpo residents were in favor of Seoul's incorporation.
A Gimpo City official said, ``Looking at the results of this public opinion poll, it seems that the best option for Gimpo City is the Soviet Union when the Gyeonggi-do branch is chosen.''

Meanwhile, Gimpo City plans to conduct a one-on-one face-to-face survey starting next week in order to collect more precise public opinion.
