President Yoon attended the APEC leaders' meeting in San Francisco, U.S., on the morning of the same day.
Attended conference session 2. Session 2 was held in a retreat format, where participants freely exchanged opinions without being particular about formality, with the theme of ``building an interconnected, inclusive, and resilient economy''.
At this occasion, President Yun urged APEC to demonstrate leadership in restoring the multilateral trading system and emphasized the need to strengthen the rules-based trade order.
He also pointed out that economic policy uncertainty is in direct contradiction to the spirit of multilateralism and free trade, and pointed out that APEC is working to restore supply chains, such as by building an early warning system.
He proposed that we strengthen our power as a priority. President Yun also stated that APEC must actively participate in establishing digital rules and governance, including artificial intelligence (AI).
