President Yun on his way to ``return to the country'' after APEC meeting... flaunts close ties between ``Japan, US, and Korea''; ``China-South Korea talks'' fail

South Korean President Yoon Seo-gyul returned to the country on the 17th (local time) after completing a diplomatic schedule that included the two-night, three-day APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation) summit.

At this APEC summit, President Yun talked about global issues such as climate change and the collapse of supply chains.
He focused his efforts on demonstrating South Korea's leadership as a global central power amidst the global complex crisis. In particular, the leaders of Japan, the United States, and South Korea have been meeting since the U.S. Camp David Summit in August this year.
The strong solidarity between the three countries was reaffirmed. Separate from the APEC summit meeting, the leaders of Japan, the United States, and South Korea had time for a dialogue that also served as a commemorative photo.

President Yun held the seventh summit meeting this year with Prime Minister Kishida, and said, ``We will make further efforts to experience the results of Japan-South Korea relations in a variety of fields.''
We all agreed, ``Let's go.'' The two leaders also attended a roundtable discussion at Stanford University, where they discussed plans for Japan-Korea and Japan-U.S.-Korea advanced technology cooperation.
