``Kimjang'' is an event where one year's worth of kimchi is pickled before winter arrives. At the 12th “Toyota Lexus Love Kimjang Sharing” event this year,
Approximately 300 people participated, including employees from Toyota Motor Korea, Toyota and Lexus official dealers throughout Korea, and employees from Toyota Financial Services Korea.
This event is a participatory volunteer activity in which employees directly make kimchi and provide it to vulnerable groups, and has been held every year since 2012.
This is Toyota Korea's representative social contribution program. From 2021, approximately 300 employees of Toyota and Lexus official dealers will also participate, and they will be able to attend welfare centers in each region and social welfare law.
They continue to engage in warm sharing activities for their neighbors, such as offering kimchi to others. This year's event was jointly planned by Toyota Motor Korea and the Seoul City Social Welfare Council, and will be held at 11 welfare locations nationwide.
Approximately 23 tons of kimchi was made at the museum and the social welfare corporation "Anna's House." Kimchi, which was made more than last year (200 pieces of Chinese cabbage), was donated to vulnerable groups across the country.
