At the 20th International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO), all six members of the Korean delegation won gold medals and achieved first place in the national overall.
In this year's competition, South Korea took joint first place along with Taiwan and Russia, followed by India, Hong Kong, Australia, and Germany.
