10 cars collide on Konan Expressway due to snow = South Korea

An accident occurred on the Honam Expressway in South Korea in which 10 vehicles, including express buses, collided. Around 2:08 p.m. on the 20th, Honam Expressway in Jungwoo, Jeollabuk-do (Jollabuk-do)
At a point 117 kilometers down the road, 10 vehicles, including express buses, freight cars, and passenger cars, were involved in a collision. As a result of this accident, the driver of the 1-ton cargo truck, who was in his 50s, was in cardiac arrest and was taken to the hospital.
One passenger in his 70s who was riding the express bus was injured. In the Iemura area where the accident occurred, 6.3 cm of snow had fallen until 2 p.m. that day.
Police suspect that the accident occurred when the vehicle slipped on a snowy road, and are investigating the exact circumstances.
