Japanese captain arrested for capturing Korean fishing boat operating with EZZ

Japan's Fisheries Agency Kyushu Fisheries Coordination Office has seized a South Korean fishing boat and arrested its captain, Kim, on suspicion of fishing without permission in the country's exclusive economic zone (EEZ).
Kyodo News reported that the captured Korean fishing boat was fishing about 220 km south of a lighthouse in Goto City, Nagasaki Prefecture, on the 23rd of this month.
This was reported on the 24th. The vessel weighs 44 tons. Kyodo News also reported that Kim did not say whether he had acknowledged the suspicions.
