On the 4th, National Assembly Speaker Kim Jin-pyo transferred the so-called ``two special prosecutor laws'' (the special prosecutor law for Kim Geon-hee's wife and Taejang-dong 5 billion club) to the government.
The government is expected to vote on the right to request reconsideration (veto) in the Diet on the 5th through the procedures of an extraordinary cabinet meeting. According to the Diet, the two special prosecutor laws that were passed by the plenary session on the 28th of last month were revised around 4 p.m.
It was transferred to the prefecture. Legislation passed by the National Assembly plenary session is forwarded to the government by the Speaker of the National Assembly, and the government must promulgate it within 15 days. If there are objections to the bill, the government will submit a statement within 15 days.
The meeting may be requested to reconsider. The presidential office announced that ``President Yoon Seo-gyeol will immediately exercise his veto power as soon as the two special prosecutors are transferred to the government.''
