Four people died due to carbon monoxide poisoning caused by using a coal stove in China's Shaanxi province. An indoor coal strike took place on the 6th in Dingbian County, Yulin City, Shaanxi Province.
Five people using the gas tube suffered from carbon monoxide poisoning. Five people were taken to the hospital, but all but one were confirmed dead. One person is being treated in a hospital and is said to be in stable condition.
Prefectural authorities have pointed out that during the heating season each year, poisoning accidents are more likely to occur due to improper use of coal stoves. He urged people to take safety measures and use it appropriately.
