Jeju Seobu Police Station announced on the 9th that they are investigating a man in his 60s for allegedly acting violently on a passenger plane before takeoff (a violation of the Aviation Security Act).
The man became drunk and shouted loudly on the plane as it was preparing to take off from Jeju International Airport to Gimpo Airport around 5:10 p.m. on the 7th.
He is accused of rampage. It was confirmed that the man was speaking incoherently at the time and did not listen to the flight attendant's requests to take a seat.
Local government police responded to the report and arrested the man red-handed.
As a result, the plane was delayed by about an hour.
