Toyota exceeds 20,000 units in Korean market for the first time in 4 years
Toyota and Lexus successfully rebounded in the Korean market last year. This is because demand for electric cars has declined in the South Korean car market, and preference for hybrid cars has increased.
Toyota Motor Korea announced, ``Last year, we sold a total of 22,056 units in the Korean market, successfully exceeding 20,000 units sold for the first time in four years since 2019.''
. Breaking down, Toyota recorded 8,495 units, an increase of approximately 36% compared to the previous year, and Lexus recorded 13,561 units, an increase of approximately 79%.
