Gwacheon City will accept applications for electric bicycle purchase subsidies from February 2nd = South Korea

Gwacheon City, South Korea, will accept applications for subsidies for purchasing electric bicycles through the city's website from February 2nd to 16th.
According to Gwacheon City in Gyeonggi Province, on the 22nd, those eligible for support must have an address in Gwacheon for 30 days prior to the public announcement date.
Citizens who are 19 years of age or older and live in the United States. If you purchase an electric bicycle, we will support 30% of the purchase cost per person, up to 300,000 won (approximately 33,000 yen).
Electric bicycles eligible for subsidy support must be powered by both pedals and an electric motor. When moving at a speed of 25 kilometers per hour or more, the electric motor is activated.
The bicycle must have a non-pedal assist (PAS) system, and the total weight must be less than 30 kilograms.

Gwacheon City will first select 100 people through an electronic lottery in February, then verify whether they meet the application requirements and make the final selection of recipients at the end of March.
