A magnitude 3.8 earthquake occurred off the coast southwest of Jeju Island, South Korea. The Japan Meteorological Agency predicted that there would be no damage from the earthquake.
According to the Japan Meteorological Agency, on the 31st, at around 5:36:23 p.m., the area was located 62 km northeast of Ieo Island, Seogwipo City, Jeju.
An earthquake occurred in an ocean area of 1.2 m. The epicenter was at 32.52 degrees north latitude and 125.65 degrees east longitude, and the epicenter was 13 kilometers deep. This earthquake caused shaking of intensity 2 in the Cheju Island area.
The Japan Meteorological Agency said, ``We do not expect any damage from the earthquake.''
