South Korean Foreign Minister meets with democracy policy experts... ”Sharing South Korea's experience with the international community”
South Korean Foreign Minister Cho Tae-yeol met with democracy policy experts including National Endowment for Democracy (NED) Chairman Damon Wilson at the South Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) on the 1st.
He explained his plan to take advantage of events such as the Third Summit on Democracy hosted by South Korea to share South Korea's experience with the international community and support the promotion of democracy.
According to the South Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Ministry of Foreign Affairs), Foreign Minister Cho spoke with Chairman Wilson and Victor Cha on political and international issues.
They met with seven experts, including the Deputy Director for Asia (Director for Korea) of the Institute for Research and Development (CSIS). In response, Chairman Wilson said, ``At a time when concerns about democratic backsliding are deepening around the world, the Korean government has decided to host the third summit after co-hosting the second summit.''
