Former professional baseball player Oh Jae-won was arrested by the police on suspicion of drug use. On the 19th, the Seoul Gangnam Police Station arrested former baseball player Oh Ji, who was active on the Korean national team, in the afternoon of the same day.
It was revealed that Aewon was arrested on suspicion of violating the Narcotics Control Act and is currently under investigation. Prior to this, on the 10th, Oh Jae-won announced that a police investigation into the drug charges was being conducted based on a report from a woman he was with.

Later, while waiting for the results of a thorough examination, the police found additional clues about Oh Jae-won's drug use, issued an arrest warrant, and took him into custody.
Meanwhile, Oh Jae-won played as a second baseman for the Doosan Bears professional baseball team from 2007 to 2022. He also represented South Korea and participated in the 2014 Asian Games.
He even won a gold medal at the tournament. Last year, he served as a baseball commentator for SPOTV, but resigned after being embroiled in various rumors.
