Lee Bo Young, ”I'm done with professional roles...I want to do life/comedy”

Lee Bo Young looks back on her life as an actress. Actor Lee Bo Young appeared as an invited guest on JTBC's ``Newsroom,'' which aired on the afternoon of the 24th.
Lee Bo Young recalled her appearance on last year's TV series "Positions" and said, "I think I look kind.
I thought it would be nice if it looked strong. So I gave her a bob and added thick eyeliner." When asked about the moment when he immersed himself in acting, he answered, ``What do you photograph when you act?
There were several moments when I felt like I had truly accomplished something that I didn't even realize. I feel a sense of catharsis until that scene is over," she said with a smile.
Regarding the criteria for selecting works, he says, ``The characters have to touch your heart.If you regret choosing a work because you are attracted to the scene.
Lee Bo Young answered, ``When the line that I want to say comes up (I choose the work).There are scenes in every TV series that I want to act.''
Lee Bo Young, who is currently starring in ``Hyde,'' said, ``It was a work that I was really worried about because there were no scenes that touched my heart.There was no scene that I wanted to do.
But once I saw the ending, I was always curious about the next story," he said, explaining why he chose this work. Lee Bo Young, who has played many professional roles such as lawyers and prosecutors in TV series,
``I think I've had enough of professional roles. It's different from the real me. I have a real sense of life and comedy, and I have a desire to play roles that are not professional and a little more informal.''
Lee Bo Young, who has been an actor for more than 20 years, said, ``When I was in my 20s, I couldn't handle the scenes and the people around me.When I turned 30, I had more leeway and my work started to become interesting.
There came a moment when I felt good in the air,'' he said, looking back on his acting life. Lee Bo Young, who has two children after marrying actor Jisung, said, ``Before I became a mother, I wasn't that interested.
There's a child the same age as my daughter in the show, and she's already like my daughter," he said with a laugh. In the past, she said, ``My dream is to be an actress who is faithful to the role and is safe.'' She said, ``The roles that are suitable for my age are changing.
I think I meant that I could be someone's mother or grandmother, and that hasn't changed.'' Lastly, Lee Bo Young said, ``Family is important, but when I come to the scene,
I have the freedom to feel like myself. That's why I hope that I continued to do things that allowed me to be ``me'','' he concluded.
