SPC Group, a major food company that operates the bakery chain ``Paris Baguette'', is collaborating with Italian coffee chain Café Pascucci to develop ``Paris Baguette'' in Italy.
The company announced that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for a master franchise agreement. This MOU was reached after approximately one year of discussions. If “Paris Baguette” expands into Italy, it will become popular in Europe.
It is the third country after France and the UK to do so. Café Pascucci is an Italian espresso restaurant founded in Monte Cerignone, Italy in 1883 and has expanded to 17 countries around the world.
It's a store specializing in souvenirs. The relationship between the two companies has continued for more than 20 years, since SPC Group introduced it to South Korea in 2002. It has become so established in the Korean market that it currently boasts the largest number of stores in any country.
This time, Caffe Pascucci will introduce Paris Baguette to Italy and support its expansion in the European market, which is expected to further strengthen the cooperative relationship between the two companies.
