A man in his 50s has been arrested by police after punching two 16-year-old girls and fleeing the scene at a restaurant in Neijiang City, Sichuan Province, China.

One of the three men sitting at a table in the bar called out to the girls. The man, a man named Rei (56), pressured the girls to drink with him, and when they refused, he attacked them.
Two of Rei's friends intervened to stop them, and the three left the store. After receiving a report from the girls, the police began an investigation. They identified the three men and arrested them at around 9:00 p.m. on the same day.
After an investigation, the man who actually committed the acts of violence against the girls was placed in criminal custody. The investigation is still ongoing.
