<Chinese TV Series NOW> ”The Untamed” EP20, Wei Wuxian loses the elixir and decides to follow the path of evil = Synopsis / Spoilers

*This article contains spoilers. Episode 20 of the Chinese TV series "The Untamed" depicts Wei Wuxian's decision to turn to evil after losing the elixir.
Sensing something was wrong, Wang Lingjiao asked Wen Chao for help. Just as Wen Chao, who found Wang Lingjiao annoying, was about to express her anger, the door suddenly blew open mysteriously.
In front of them stood Wang Lingjiao, covered in blood. Wang Lingjiao and Wen Chao were so upset that they started screaming like madmen. A little while later, Jiang Cheng and Lan Zhang entered the Yiling Supervision Office.
Lan Wangji, however, finds Wen's subordinates who have died mysteriously, as well as Wang Lingjiao, who has committed suicide by hanging. There, Lan Wangji finds a talisman that has been written by someone to invite evil.
However, they could not find out who was responsible. Jiang Cheng and Lan Wangji decided to chase Wen Chao who had escaped. However, someone had already arrived and many of Wen's subordinates had been killed.
Jiang Cheng and Lan Wangji were suspicious of this. They found Wen Chao and Wen Zhuliu's hideout. Then, accompanied by the sound of a flute, a vengeful spirit dressed in red appeared before Wen Chao and his friends.
Jiang Cheng and Lan Wangji discover that the person controlling the vengeful spirit is the missing Wei Wuxian. Just as Wei Wuxian is about to lay hands on Wen Zhuliu, a ghost leaps from the rooftop and...
Jiang Cheng got off and used a purple lightning bolt to strangle Wen Zhuliu, killing him. Afterwards, Jiang Cheng embraced Wei Wuxian and asked him where he had been for the past three months. Wei Wuxian did not mention that he had been abandoned in the burial grounds.
However, Lan Wangji begins to suspect that Wei Wuxian has altered the talisman and killed many of the Wen clan members. He also asks Wei Wuxian why he gave up kendo.
Wei WuXian couldn’t bring himself to say that he had no choice but to turn to evil because he had run out of his elixir.
In the end, Wei Wuxian and Jiang Cheng killed Wen Chao and the two of them married Jiang Fengmian.
He succeeded in avenging Ning Mian and Yu Ziyuan. He then quietly shed tears when he reunited with Jiang Yanli, who had been waiting for them in Qinghe.
