Actress Hwang Jung Eum, victim of misunderstanding over ”adulterous woman” ”face revealed”... still feeling pain after apology

Ms A, who was misunderstood by actress Hwang Jung Eum as her husband's lover, complained of a string of damages.

On the 6th, through her channel, Ms A stated, "On the 6th April, my face and a posting including malicious comments are still on some communities including DC Inside" and that "not only is my face still exposed on YouTube and walking around with gossip stories, but also foreign websites and foreign news articles are still exposing my face. She continued "I've received so many contacts from people around me, but even this kind of attention is actually unbearable. I responded rationally to Hwang Jung-eum because I supported her wholeheartedly" and added, "And most importantly, I will act rationally to the maximum extent mentally to protect my family, the people around me and myself. I ask for restraint in speculation just in case, and politely ask you not to handle my photos and personal information any further."

Hwang Jung-eum is currently in divorce proceedings with Lee Yong-dong, an entrepreneur with a professional golfing background. On the 4th April, Hwang Jung-eum said "She's an ugly woman. Please marry Yong-dong. Why can't you just divorce me and go to Bangkok? Please marry my husband. There is only one reason why I raise it like this. The capture exposed a woman's photo and the IDs of all her social networking accounts. However, this woman, A, was a completely unrelated member of the public. She said, "I am not the adulterer of Lee Yong-dong, whom Ms Hwang Jung-eum shot. I didn't even know what Lee Yong-dong was doing, and that person probably didn't even know I existed" and demanded an apology from Hwang Jung-eum, saying, "I usually don't watch 'SNL', but this time I watched and supported Hwang Jung-eum until the end for the first time in support of her."

In response, Hwang Jung-eum said, "There was a misunderstanding in the process of organising my personal affairs. I sincerely apologise for the damage I caused to the parties concerned and people in the vicinity by posting the public statement" and apologised, saying, "I have also contacted the affected parties directly to apologise".

When victim A pointed out the ambiguous apology after capturing Hwang Jung-eum's apology, Hwang Jung-eum amended the original apology and said, "I am worried about correcting the wrong contents and taking responsibility for the damage. I have to make a clear distinction between public and private in a space where many people are watching, but I apologise for making the wrong decision in a confused emotional state and causing fatigue to the public as well. I will be careful."

The next day, Hwang Jung-eum's agency also apologised, saying that they felt keenly responsible for the incident.

Nevertheless, Ms A's damage continues and is becoming more regrettable.
