Reuters quoted a source on the 8th (local time) as saying, "Samsung Electronics' subsidy amount will be more than $6 billion," and "next week.
The grant is expected to be used to build four facilities, including a semiconductor factory and a research and development center, which are under construction in Taylor, Texas.
According to the WSJ, Samsung Electronics is investing $17.3 billion (approximately 2.6276 trillion yen) to build a semiconductor factory in Taylor, Texas, and announced plans for additional investment on the 15th.
The total investment by Samsung Electronics in the Texas plant, including additional investments, is expected to reach $44 billion.
