President Yoon to consider ”statement of position” after general election early next week - South Korea

South Korean President Yoon Seok-yeol is reported to be making his position clear as early as next week following the results of the general elections held on April 10.

President Yoon briefly stated his position on the results of the general election on the 11th, but it was pointed out that "communication regarding the management of national affairs is necessary."
President Yoon has no official schedule after the general election and is currently "considering" further measures. An official from the South Korean presidential office said, "President Yoon is consulting with those around him.
"We need time to reflect on the areas where we have been moving forward too quickly," he said, but added, "We cannot let this drag on." President Yoon not only emphasized communication, but also the method and format of communication.
This has led to speculation that President Yoon may hold a press conference. It is also believed that there will be changes to the senior staff of the presidential office.
It is expected that changes to the staff will be made, starting with the chief secretary, on the 14th.
