<Chinese TV Series NOW> ”The Untamed” 3 EP1, Wen Ning kills Jin Zixuan = Synopsis / Spoilers

A letter arrives from Lan Wangji to Wei Wuxian's former. The contents of the letter are an invitation to a banquet celebrating the first month since Jin Rulan's birth.
Wei Wuxian was overjoyed and hurriedly took Wen Ning to the town to buy gifts for him. Wei Wuxian spent all the money Wen Qing had given him on small items. Wen Ning bought the items that Wei Wuxian had chosen.
When he saw the small items, he was sure they would be delighted, but Wei Wuxian explained that the real present was a Buddhist utensil that he had spent half a month making without taking a break.
On the way home after buying gifts, Wei Wuxian and Wen Ning led the disciples from each family to wait for them.

Wen Ning fought alone against the disciples that Jin Zixun had brought with him. When Jin Zixun noticed the gift in Wei Wuxian's pocket, he made fun of Wei Wuxian for trying to join the banquet.
Jin Zixuan stepped in to mediate between the two. Jin Zixuan apologized to Wei Wuxian on Jin Zixun's behalf for his behavior. In a fit of anger, Jin Zixuan smashed the gift Wei Wuxian had prepared for him. Angered, Wei
Wuxian closed his eyes and played the flute. When Wei Wuxian opened his eyes again, Wen Ning had killed Jin Zixuan. Upon hearing of Jin Zixuan's death, Mr. Jin was overcome with grief. As soon as Wei Wuxian saw Wen Ning, he decided to kill only Jin Zixuan.
Wen Ning kept apologizing to Wei Wuxian, and Wei Wuxian wondered if Wen Ning was to blame for the whole incident.
He suggested that they take them to the Jin clan to apologize. When Wei Wuxian was in a coma, he received a letter from the Jin clan stating that he would forgive the incident at the funeral if he handed over Wen Ning and Wen Qing.
Wei Wuxian refused, but Wen Qing made up her mind, thanked Wei Wuxian and apologized, and left the place with Wen Ning. Wei Wuxian shed tears, and Wen Ning and Wen Qing took the Wen family members and
Wei Wuxian finally wakes up from his dream and goes outside to follow Wen Ning and Wen Qing. He finds that the outside is deserted and that not a single member of the Wen family is there.
