”It's time for you to do it too” - Actor Yu A In reveals that a YouTuber friend tried to recruit her to smoke marijuana
A YouTuber who claims to have been solicited to smoke marijuana by actor Yu A In testified in court. On the afternoon of the 16th (today), the Seoul Central District Court indicted her for violating the Narcotics Control Act (marijuana).
The fourth hearing of Yu A In, who was indicted on suspicion of incitement to marijuana smoking, was held. In the hearing, YouTuber A was questioned as a witness in relation to the suspicion of instigating marijuana smoking by Yu A In.
Yu A In is suspected of forcing Mr. A to smoke marijuana as soon as he found out that she was smoking marijuana while traveling with an acquaintance in the United States in January last year. However, Yu A In has not been charged with any of the following offenses:
Although he admitted to smoking marijuana in the third trial, he denied the allegation of instigating smoking. Mr. A said, "My friends were smoking at the hotel's outdoor pool, passing around what looked like a cigarette butt."
He claimed, "When it was my turn, Yu A In said, 'I think it's about time you took a puff too. Give one to A too.'"
He continued, "I'm cheerful even if I don't do it, so I don't have to do it," making his intention to refuse clear.
Yu A In added, "Give it to A," and claimed that A only pretended to smoke it.
Mr. A also said that Yu A In told him not to tell anyone,
"The atmosphere wasn't hostile, but there were relationships that were entangled and everything was entangled," he said.
Previously, Yu A In had been using propofol and other drugs 181 times between September 2020 and March last year.
He is suspected of having illegally prescribed sleeping pills under other people's names on 44 occasions between May 2021 and August last year.
In June, after being handed the case by the police, the prosecution said Yu A In had given evidence to an acquaintance.
Additional evidence was gathered showing him forcing his comrades in the United States to smoke marijuana, including giving orders to cover up the crime.
