Today (20th) marks one year since the death of the late Seo Se-won.

A year has passed since the death of comedian and businessman Seo Se-won. Seo Se-won passed away on April 20, 2023 at the age of 67.
While receiving an intravenous drip at a hospital in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, he went into cardiac arrest and died despite first aid from medical staff.
According to local Korean residents and other people involved, the deceased had a chronic condition called diabetes.
The hospital where Seo Se-won died was one he had invested in, and on the day of his death, a nurse interview was held.
It was reported that the deceased had personally administered the injection. As there was no doctor present, a nurse who had come to interview the deceased personally administered the injection, and the deceased died while receiving an intravenous drip of nutritional injection.
A funeral hall was prepared in Seoul and the funeral was held on April 30th of last year, ten days after the deceased's death.
Meanwhile, comedian and former talent Seo Se-won appeared in a gag contest on TBC Radio in 1979.
He debuted as a comedian after appearing in the TV drama "Kim Hyun-soo" and went on to enjoy his heyday as a comedian. He married Suh Jung-Hee in 1981, but in 2014, it was revealed that Seo Se-won had assaulted Suh Jung-Hee.
This caused controversy. Seo Se-won was sentenced to six months in prison with two years of probation for assaulting Suh Jung-Hee, and the two subsequently divorced by mutual consent.
In 2016, he remarried a haegeum player 23 years younger than him, and it was reported that he is now working as a pastor in Cambodia.
