The suspect, A, was arrested on the spot on suspicion of brandishing a weapon at a man in his 60s, Mr. B, at around midnight on the same day at a goshiwon in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul.
Mr. B, who was wounded in the abdomen by the murder weapon, was taken to the hospital, but it was reported that his life was not in danger. After the crime, suspect A returned to his room and was approached by police who had been called by the victim.
The suspect was arrested by police on suspicion of assault.
After investigating the details of the incident, the police decided to arrest suspect A on the same day.
They plan to apply for an arrest warrant against him.
