President Yoon to hold summit with Romania today (23rd) to discuss defense industry and nuclear power cooperation
On the 23rd, South Korean President Yoon Seok-yeol will hold a Korea-Romania summit with Romanian President Klaus Iohannis, who is on an official visit to South Korea.
According to the Presidential Office, President Yoon received President Yohani at the Presidential Office in Yongsan that morning and held a summit meeting and signed agreements and understandings.
The two leaders are scheduled to hold a signing ceremony for a memorandum of understanding (MOU) and luncheon, among other things. They are also scheduled to discuss strategic cooperation plans between the two countries in areas such as defense industry and nuclear power.
Prior to this, President Yoon had met with John F. Kennedy in Vilnius, Lithuania, in July last year while attending the NATO summit.
President Yoon Soo is currently holding a summit with President Yoon Soo. Meanwhile, First Lady Kim Kun-hee may also attend some of the scheduled dates. President Yoon Soo was accompanied by his wife Carmen Yoon Soo.
Kim is expected to attend the couple's scheduled visits. She has not been seen in public for about four months since returning to the country as a state guest in the Netherlands in December last year.
