The chief said through a public notice that afternoon, "Today (23rd) at 1:58 pm at the National Assembly, Chief Secretary for Political Affairs Hong, Secretary for Political Affairs Cha Sun-ho, and Chief Secretary of the Democratic Party Representative Chung met to hold a preparatory meeting.
"The meeting lasted for about 40 minutes, and we discussed making policies to resolve urgent civilian issues and important national policy issues firmly on the agenda for this meeting," Kwon said.
He continued, "We have decided to re-negotiate the schedule for the meeting between President Yoon and Representative Lee. The second preparatory meeting will be held after the Democratic Party and the presidential office have each checked their preparations.
"We have decided to hold the event for the first time."
