A man in his 60s was arrested by police after firing a gas gun at his neighbors in a multi-family home because they were making noise. On April 26, Geumsan Police Station in South Chungcheong Province issued a special investigation.
A man in his 60s was arrested on the spot on suspicion of assault and is currently being investigated. A fired a gas gun at a neighboring couple in a two-story multi-family home in Geumsan-eup, Geumsan-gun, at around 9:50 p.m. on the 25th.
The police were suspected of shooting the neighbors with a gas gun the day before. A, who lives on the second floor of the same building, was shot by a couple living on the first floor who were on the roof at the time.
After firing the gas gun at his wife, Mr. B, he followed Mr. B as he fled and fired the gas gun again at the couple on the first floor. Fortunately, the gas gun had only a low charge and the gas was fired into the air.
It was confirmed that no one was injured. During police investigation, Mr. A stated that he had taken a gas gun and shot them because they were making noise on the roof.
It was revealed that the gas gun was owned by Mr. A, who has a firearms license.
