A gang fight involving suspected gang members broke out in a busy shopping district in Haeundae, Busan, South Korea, causing fear in the local community.
On the 28th, the Haeundae Police Station in Busan announced that they were investigating about 10 men on suspicion of violating the Act on the Punishment of Violence, etc.
The incident, which occurred in the early hours of the 24th, began as an argument between two men, and after an hour and a half, several men who appeared to be acquaintances of the two men joined in, escalating into a large-scale confrontation.
The brawl damaged the building's glass doors and surrounding property, terrorized shopkeepers and residents, and some witnesses said the men had been armed.
Police are currently working to identify the men involved, with a police source saying: "They are men who behave like members of an organized crime group and are not actually members of any organization."
