A policy meeting was held to discuss ways to expand China-Korea economic cooperation.
The meeting was attended by the Korean side, including Chairman Choi Tae-won and Chairman Yang Gol of the China-Korea Chamber of Commerce, as well as CCIEE Chairman Bi Jingquan.
The think tank, whose members include the largest state-owned and private enterprises in various industries in China, was held in Seoul, South Korea in December last year.
The fourth China-Korea High-Level Business Dialogue will be held in Beijing in the second half of this year to review the implementation status of the issues discussed at the dialogue.
The meeting was held to set the agenda for the "5th Dialogue." Chairman Choi will also visit Tokyo next month and hold a dialogue hosted by the Japan-Korea Business Association.
He will also attend the 56th Japan-Korea Business Conference. The conference will be held from the 13th to the 16th of next month and will be attended by over 300 business leaders from Japan and Korea.
The theme of the conference is "Korea-Japan Partnership," and Chairman Choi will deliver a keynote speech on economic cooperation between Japan and Korea. Former Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs Takeyoshi Mori will also deliver a keynote speech on the Japanese side.
Former Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga will also attend and deliver a speech. The conference will discuss pending issues related to promoting economic exchanges between Japan and South Korea, including increasing trade, investment, and industrial and technological cooperation.
We will hold discussions and explore ways of cooperation.
