TWICE's Dahyun takes on acting role for the first time since debut in film Sprint

Girl group "TWICE" Dahyun will try her hand at acting in the independent feature film Sprint.

　On the 2nd, JYP Entertainment, the agency of "TWICE," announced to Herald POP, "Dahyun has been cast in the movie Sprint.

　The movie Sprint tells the story of Gu-yeon, a sprinter who is at the end of his prime and is looking for his last spark.

　Prior to this, actor Ha Seok-jin was chosen to play the main character, Gu-yeon.

　Gu-Yeon is based on Kim Guk-Yeon, the new Korean track and field record holder and the first athlete in 37 years to win a bronze medal in the 400-meter relay race.

　Above all, this will be Dahyun's first acting challenge since her debut, and there is much interest in what the actress will look like.

　Meanwhile, Sprint is set to be crank-in early May.
