South Korean Presidential Office: ”Military will more than double its drone fleet by 2026”... ”Budget to be significantly increased”

The South Korean government has decided to secure a large number of drones to strengthen its preparedness against North Korean drone threats. By 2026, the South Korean military plans to acquire more than twice as many drones as it does now.

The two sides discussed ways to strengthen military capabilities and maximize the use of existing military capabilities. The South Korean government plans to "increase budget investment to quickly secure a large number of drones."
