Grandmother who gave baby milk laced with wine, thinking it was just water

A 4-month-old baby in Italy drank milk mixed with wine and fell into a coma.
According to sources, on the 29th of last month, an accident occurred in Brindisi, Italy, where a baby drank milk mixed with wine. The accident occurred because the baby's grandmother "mistook the wine for water."
The grandmother immediately took the baby to a nearby hospital, where the baby was treated in the ICU.
The baby fell into a coma but thankfully did not sustain any life-threatening injuries. Local police investigating the case will review the baby's medical records to determine whether to file criminal charges.
Police are currently investigating the incident.
