The fate of ”Uijeongbu Sewer The Body”... Disappeared during examination in the emergency room

It has been revealed that a man in his 60s who was found dead and naked in a sewer pipe in a river in Uijeongbu, Gyeonggi Province, last month went missing while being examined at the emergency room.
According to the police on the 5th, a man in his 60s, Mr. A, whose naked body was found in a sewer pipe in Ganeung-dong, Uijeongbu, at around 2:40 pm on the 16th of last month, had last visited an emergency room.
Police investigated the surrounding area after identifying the identity of the deceased man and discovered that Mr. A lived alone in the northern Gyeonggi region and suffered from dementia.
A was struggling to make ends meet and was working at a furniture factory in Namyangju, where he was living in a rented apartment with support from the factory.
On the day of his disappearance, on January 27th, Mr. A met with Mr. B, an associate of the factory where he worked, at a factory in Yangcheon County.
At this time, when A showed symptoms of a seizure and collapsed, B took A to the emergency room at a hospital in the Uijeongbu area. B admitted A to the hospital and then returned home.
However, around 5:00 pm, Mr. A disappeared from the hospital during the examination without paying. The police learned that this was his last action before he was found.
Although Mr. A vanished from the hospital and was missing, it was reported that Mr. B, his family, and those around him did not report him missing.
After that, Mr. A was found dead in an 8-meter-long sewer pipe near Nogyang Station in Uijeongbu City, about 1 km from the hospital.
The body was found in the back. A police official said, "Considering how cold it was at the time, it's possible that Mr. A, who has dementia, crawled around the area and ended up in the sewer pipe."
He continued, "There was CCTV footage near the sewer pipe, but it only had a month's worth of footage saved, and we couldn't find anything unusual."
