During his escape, Gon was captured by artillerymen along with Myung-yoon, Kap-seok (Kim Sol-jin), and Oh-wori (Kim Noh-jin), but he went to find Myung-yoon.
With the help of Mu Baek (Seo Jae Woo), a guard of Sang Rok (Kim Zu Hun), Gon and Myung Yoon, who had left Kapsok and Oh Wori, sneaked into the barn.
Gon spent the night holding Myung-yoon tightly, who had gotten into trouble. The next day, Gon and Myung-yoon were captured by artillerymen waiting outside the barn and taken to the government office.
However, with the help of Kapsok, who had been hiding in the county jail beforehand, Gon made a dramatic escape. On this day, Gon showed a changed personality, with a strong desire for revenge and a sad expression towards Myung Yoon.
