”EXO's DO (Do Kyungsoo) makes comeback with new album: ”I want you to be happy when you listen to my songs”

Singer and actor DO (Do Kyungsoo/EXO) shared his thoughts on making a comeback with his new album "BLOSSOM."
On the 7th, DO will return with their 3rd mini album "BLOSSOM".
This new album, which will be released for the first time in about eight months since "Expectations," sings of the diverse growth that takes place throughout life's journey.
DO's third mini album "BLOSSOM" is a collection of unexpected and adorable love songs.
The album includes the title track "Mars," which contains a storyline, and "Popcorn," which topped the iTunes all-genre charts in 17 countries/regions immediately after its release.
A total of six songs have been recorded: "Joys," "Good Night," "My Dear," and "About Time."
DO said, "First of all, I'm excited and I want to know how people will feel when they listen to the songs on this album.
"I'm really curious to see how well it will be received," he said, "As this is an album that I've worked hard to prepare, I hope that many people will be happy when they listen to my songs."
Meanwhile, the full version of the third mini album "BLOSSOM" will be released on major music sites at 6 p.m. on the 7th.

How do you feel about making a comeback with your 3rd mini album "BLOSSOM"?
First of all, I'm really excited and I'm curious to see how people will feel when they listen to the songs on this album.
I hope that many people will be happy listening to my songs. Q. Please introduce the title song "Mars". Why did you choose it as the title song?
"Mars" is a minimalist, mid-tempo pop song that expresses hesitation and worry about whether we can love each other, despite our differences.
But in order to love the other person, they muster up the courage to approach them first, and the song contains a cute and unexpected love story of growth. I really like the cute melody and lyrics.
So we decided on the title song. Q. What is the difference from your last album "Expectations"? And for your 3rd mini album "BLOSSOM",
What did you pay special attention to? The lyrics of the songs on this 3rd mini album "BLOSSOM" match the theme of "growth."
I prepared the lyrics with great care, hoping that the meaning of growth would be conveyed well to the listeners.
Q. What kind of album do you want your fans to remember "BLOSSOM" as?
It may mean that I have "grown up," but it also means that I will continue to grow even more, and I hope that the fans who listen to the songs on this album will

What props or styling do you think are the highlights of your music videos? I remember the props in the "Mars" music video being special.
My character in the music video is a bit of an oddball, so the art team really put together the props, each one unique and beautiful.
I think it will be fun to see the props, such as the backpacks and headsets. Q. Is there a special episode that happened while filming the music video for this album?
When I was shooting the music video for "Mars," I was riding a bike loaded with flowers, but the weight of the flowers was so heavy that it was not easy to pedal uphill.
But I tried my best to get in. And in the music video for "Popcorn," there's a scene where popcorn rains down from the elevator, and it was a huge amount of actual popcorn.
I remember one episode where the elevator doors couldn't open all at once because of the weight of the popcorn, so we had to clear it away again.
Q. What are the key points of the title song "Mars" and the released preview song "Popcorn"? "Mars" is "Hmm, for example,"
The lyrics of "Popcorn" are very cute, "You're the thrill you gave me," and I think that's the key point. I was excited when I sang that part too.
