China's e-commerce logistics index continues to recover... rising for two consecutive months = Chinese report

The China Logistics Purchasing Federation announced the April EC Logistics Index on the 8th. China's EC Logistics Index has increased for two consecutive months.

This is the first time it has exceeded 113 points since then. The index for each item was slightly higher than the previous month. Specifically, the total business volume index for e-commerce logistics in April increased by 1.3 points compared to the previous month.
By region, the total business volume index rose in the eastern, central and northeastern regions, with the northeastern region showing the largest increase.
The volume of e-commerce logistics business in rural areas also increased, with the rural e-commerce logistics business index increasing 0.2 points year-on-year to 127.9 points in April.
This is an increase of more than 25% from the same period last year. By region, the scores were high in the Chubu and Northeast regions, with the Chubu region in particular exceeding the national average.
"Logistics sectors that are closely related to the public, such as e-commerce logistics, are all showing clear signs of recovery," said Cai Jin, vice president of the association.
"The development of e-commerce and logistics is providing a wider scope for consumption and improving the quality and level of consumption among the people," he said.
