”SEVENTEEN” finishes best album activities... ”Unlimited growth” at Nissan Stadium

'SEVENTEEN' successfully completed the official activities of their best album '17 IS RIGHT HERE'.

After their appearance on SBS 'Popular Song' on the 12th, the members announced through their official SNS "The activity was happy until the last broadcast. As long as the passionate cheers and support of CARAT (fandom name) continue, SEVENTEEN right here" and expressed their gratitude to the fans who supported them.

With this album, SEVENTEEN recorded album sales of over 3 million copies and continued their march to No. 1 on the music charts in South Korea and abroad. They also held an encore tour at super-sized stadium performance venues before and after the release of their best album, showing growth without limits.

SEVENTEEN' swept to No. 1 on major charts in and outside Korea... as expected of 'SEVENTEEN'.

17 IS RIGHT HERE showed an unprecedented amount of sales for a best album and made the global influence of 'SEVENTEEN' felt. According to Circle Chart on the 9th of this month, the album, which was released on the 29th of last month, surpassed the cumulative sales volume of 3.18 million copies (general edition, Weavers edition and kit combined) in the month of April alone. This is a remarkable achievement, following the double million-seller record achieved on the first day of its release and the initial sales of 2,967,937 copies.

Popularity in Japan was also hot. SEVENTEEN' has ranked No. 1 in Japan's Oricon Weekly Album Ranking (May 13th / total period: Apr 29th ~ May 5th) and Weekly Album Ranking (May 13th) with '17 IS RIGHT HERE'. SEVENTEEN' topped both charts for the 12th time in total and continued the record of 'the most No. 1 albums by overseas artists'.

The group swept not only the album but also the music charts at No. 1. Immediately after its release, the title track 'MAESTRO' swept to No. 1 on the iTunes 'Top Songs' chart in 32 countries and regions worldwide and topped the Worldwide Songs Chart. The song also reached No. 1 on Japan's largest sound source site LINE MUSIC Song Top 100 Chart and Melon Chart HOT 100, as well as other charts in Korea and abroad.

■ New start for 'SEVENTEEN'... global 'enthusiastic activities' in the second half of the year announced.

After finishing the official activities for their best album, 'SEVENTEEN' will meet their global fans through a super-sized stadium tour in Japan. They will hold 'SEVENTEEN TOUR FOLLOW AGAIN' at Osaka Yanma Stadium Nagai on 18th~19th and Kanagawa Nissan Stadium on 25th~26th. The Kanagawa Nissan Stadium in particular is called the 'dream stage' by many singers, as it is the largest performance venue in Japan with a capacity of more than 70,000 spectators per performance. EVENTEEN' is the second K-pop boy group to hold its concert at this venue.

As the members emphasized "a new start for 'SEVENTEEN'" at the best album release press conference held earlier, expectations for their future progress are growing. SEVENTEEN' will perform at the Glastonbury Festival in the UK in June and Lollapalooza BERLIN in Germany in September. The 'SEVENTEEN TOUR 'FOLLOW' AGAIN TO SEOUL' held at the Seoul World Cup Stadium on 27th~28th September will be filmed and will visit fans all over the world this year.
