On the 11th and 12th, 'BABYMONSTER' successfully held '[BABYMONSTER PRESENTS: SEE YOU THE RE] IN JAPAN' at Ariake Arena in Tokyo. All 26,000 seats were sold out, including the 20,000 seats prepared for both days and the additional seats that were opened at the request of fans.
Babymonster took to the stage amidst a thunderous cheers and lifted the atmosphere with their official debut song 'Sheesh'. They then performed songs from their first mini-album such as 'LIKE THAT' and 'Stuck In The Middle (Remix)', which were released for the first time on this occasion, as well as the complete seven-piece 'BATTER UP' and cover songs from their debut reality show, all of which were reminiscent of a concert. The diverse setlist kept the audience's eyes glued to the stage.
In particular, their overwhelming live performances, including explosive vocals and raps that filled the venue and group dances completed with intense energy, gave the audience a tingling shiver every moment. In addition, the members heated up the heat of the scene with their relaxed stage manner despite being newcomers, as they freely walked around the stage and guided the audience to respond to their performances.
The contents prepared by the members for their first fan meeting after their debut added a special touch to the event. The members answered random questions during the profile-making corner to communicate intimately with the fans, and created unforgettable memories together with the fans through participatory games such as relay drawing.
The members of BABYMONSTER, including ASA, who visited their hometown, said "I was nervous at my first fan meeting, but the time with the fans really flew by. We are touched and honoured to be able to breathe with so many people like this" and "We thank all the fans who enjoyed the stage we worked so hard to prepare and supported us", expressing their loving sincerity.
Meanwhile, 'BABYMONSTER', who successfully launched the signal bullet of their first fan meeting tour after their debut, will visit Jakarta, Indonesia, on the 8th June. They will then expand their global fan base through seven performances in a total of five cities, including Singapore on the 15th June, Taipei on the 23rd June and Bangkok, Thailand from 29th to 30th June.
