Arrest warrant issued for fugitive suspect in murder of Korean in Pattaya, Thailand
An arrest warrant has been issued for Mr. A, one of three fugitive suspects who remains at large in connection with the murder and abandonment of a Korean national in the Thai tourist destination of Pattaya.
According to a statement by the Korean police on the 14th, the Changwon District Court issued an arrest warrant for suspect A, who is alleged to have been involved in the murder case in Pattaya, on charges of murder and abandoning the body.
Mr. A is believed to have fled to a neighboring Thai country. Earlier this month, Mr. D is accused of conspiring with Korean accomplices Mr. B and Mr. C to murder a Korean man in his 30s in Pattaya and abandon the body.
B was arrested by police at around 7:46 pm on the 12th at his home in Jeongeup, North Jeolla Province. B was questioned before his arrest at the Changwon District Court on the 15th.
Mr. B is currently denying the allegations. Mr. C was arrested by local police at his lodgings in Phnom Penh, Cambodia at around 12:10 a.m. on the same day.
