Parents of NewJeans file petition through entertainment industry lawyer

It has been confirmed that the parents of the New Jeans members have filed a petition through lawyer Kang Jin-seok, who specializes in disputes in the entertainment industry.
On the 19th, lawyer Kang Jin-seok told Edaily, "We are working to help the parents of NewJeans members submit petitions.
Some have suggested that the parents of the members may take legal action against HYBE over the exclusive contract following the appointment of Kang as attorney, but this has been confirmed to be false.
The lawyer responded, "I was simply delegated the task of submitting the petition." The petition is presumed to contain content supporting ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin.
An extraordinary general meeting of ADOR shareholders, where HYBE plans to replace CEO Min and other ADOR management members, will be held on the 31st.
The decision on the provisional injunction banning the exercise of voting rights that Min filed against HYBE is expected to be made before the extraordinary general meeting of shareholders.
