Actor Shim Hyung Tak showed tears during hypnosis treatment.

The Channel A variety programme 'Recent Men's Life - Groom Class' (hereafter 'Groom Class'), which was broadcast on 22nd, depicted the male stars' groom classes.

On that day, his wife Saya said, "Why did you take so long?" when Shim Hyun-tak went to put out the sorting collection and came back after taking quite a long time. What else did you do besides sorting and collecting?"

In response to his wife Saya's questioning, Shim Hyung Tak explained that he could not remember what he had done after the sorting and collection.

Saya zoomed in with her mobile phone camera to capture Shim Hyung Tak doing something in the smoking area on the ground floor and expressed her disappointment at breaking the smoking ban.

Saya said that she did not want to fight hard, but she knew why she was fighting hard, and that she was hurt by believing him. In response, Sim Hyun Tak said that he hoped Saya would understand. In the end, Saya told him to bring all the cigarettes and Shim Hyung Tak took out the cigarettes he had hidden around the house.

Saya confided that when she first met Shim Hyung Tak, she was pleased to see that he was a non-smoker. She continued, "But when we went out and I checked the internet, I found pictures of him smoking. I promised to stop, but I didn't keep my promise, so I can't help it".

Shim Hyung Tak and Saya's marriage caused conflict over the issue of smoking cessation, and Shim Hyung Tak even tried hypnosis treatment, which caught the attention of the couple.

They visited a hypnosis counsellor and Shim Hyun Tak revealed that he had started smoking while modelling in his second year of university. When the hypnosis treatment began, Shim Hyun Tak went back in time and faced himself.

He opened up about smoking for the first time, saying, "I started with great difficulty". He continued, "Nobody listens to me. All my family members are clinging to me", which saddened those around him.

The hypnosis counsellor explained that smoking is just an escape from reality for a while, and cynically asked if it would actually ever change. He continued, "Please comfort Hyung Tak who is with Saya in 2024 and Hyung Tak who is living in 2010".

Shim Hyung Tak comforted him, saying, "Hyung Tak, it's okay". He told his past self "Later you will have a good man by your side. Don't be weak and bear it," he encouraged her, impressing everyone around him.
